The Legend of Momotaro

Once upon a time there lived an old man an old woman in the country of Okayama. The old man went everyday into the mountains to cut wood, while his wife would go to the river to wash clothes. One day, while the old woman was down at the river washing clothes, a big peach came floating down the river! It looked so delicious, she decided to take it home for her and her husband to eat. When the old man came back to their home, the old woman cut the peach open, and to their surprise, there was a small boy inside! They decided to call him Momotaro, which means 'peach boy'.

The old couple raised Momotaro to be big and strong. One day, he decided to go and defeat the ogres living on Ogre Island that were pillaging the land. The old woman fixed him some delicious millet dumplings, known as kibi-dango, for his long journey to the island. On the way, a monkey, a dog, and a pheasant joined him, giving them a dumpling each in return for their help in fighting the ogres.

Upon reaching the Ogre Island, Momotaro and his companions found that the gate was locked to the Ogre's fort. The pheasant flew inside, and grabbed a key to let the others in. Once inside, they fought the evil ogres. The pheasant pecked their eyes, the dog bit their legs and the monkey jumped on their backs, clawing at the beasts. Finally, the ogres cried for mercy! They gave the strong Momotaro all of their treasure, and he returned to his village triumphantly. Momotaro and the old couple lived happily ever after.

Unforgettable Moment

Hello guys! whats your favorite place?
Mine is beach!

Almost every year on holiday, me and my family come to Pameungpeuk, West Java for silaturahmi or visiting family, friends, etc. On 21th of August 2012, as a routine, we went to Pameungpeuk by car for 5 hours. Its a tiring journey, we passes through mountain, up and down, turn right and left frequently. Sometimes on the way i got a headache, sleep is the best way to avoid headache during the trip. But, if you look outside the window, theres many amazing scenery! its so fresh and green, the air is really fresh too!

Pameungpeuk have 2 beach, there are Santolo and Sayangheulang. In Santolo we can swim because the coast is safe and shallow, surrounded by soft sand. But im going to tell you about my vacation in Sayangheulang beach. Sayangheulang beach surrounded by coral and rock. You can't swim there because its too dangerous, but you can find many pretty-shells theres. The waves is soooooooooooo beautiful! im in love with the waves, why? because its really clean and the colour is really really magnificent! guess what? tosca! how cool is that?

Near Sayangheulang beach, theres seafood' restaurant too. So, we can eat after we enjoyed the scenery of the beach. I'll never forget my moment there, too good to be forgotten. Thankyou all, i hope you can visit Sayangheulang beach too. You wont regret it, i promise. Ciao~

About Me

Hello guys!
Welcome to my blog!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Almira Mahira Noviani, you can call me Almira or Mira. My bloodtype is B. I was born on November 16th 1998 in Bandung and i live in Jl. Kerang no. 20, Buah Batu, Bandung with my parents, grandma, and one lil'sister. I came from from 13 junior high school, im very grateful that now, im a 3 senior high school' student.

My hobbies are playing computer, games, listening to music and reading. My favorite foods and drinks are noodle, burger, lemonade, mineral water, and many more! I have a dream to become a successful person, so i can makes my parents proud in the future. I want to help poor people and give them something precious called "happiness"

Now, i'll tell you about my beauty and the beast. My weakness are not discipline and very lazy, i could sleep all the time and rarely use my time for something important like studying. Its really hard to changes my habit, but im trying to change it so i can be a better person. My good point is, i can control my emotion and behaviour to other people + really calm.

I have some quotes to motivate my life, because live without motivation is useless (i think). The first one is "I personally do not care about what others say about me. If i were easily affected by the feedbacks that we gained, we would not be able to be true to ourselves" a quote from an artist, G-Dragon. The second one is "Look up!" to be honest is a word for an online generation like (almost) all of us. Who always use gadget for everything. But if you look up, you can see the real world and it beauty. This video inspire me so much.

Thats all from me, thankyou for visiting my page! see you around~
